Club Union, 2007 Description The abandoned ruins of the Club Union in Panama City are both imposing and elusive. This monument was historically a prestigious venue in the country for the oligarchs and elite, and later the hangout of General Manuel Noriega and his top officials. The victim of a precision strike during the US Invasion in 1989, it now serves as a backdrop to the urban renewal taking place all around the city.
